A Fine Home
I am excited to share some fresh architectural photos with you. These are of a house designed by Murphy and Company, located right here in Buffalo. Jeff Murphy is a really talented home designer.

I always thought I liked the contemporary home look, with clean lines and simple decor. But when I walk into one of Jeff's homes, I feel like I am at home. He brings the clean lines into an "up north" meets "historic" feel and does it in a way that feels rich, but not overdone.

This first shot is of the beautiful stone fireplace in the great room.

I like the balance of lines and texture in this photo.

The kitchen. I really like the lighting above the cabinets and in the ceiling.

This is the downstairs family room. Notice the great wood pillars and ceiling.

In this shot, you are looking across the bar toward the room in the previous photo. Notice the tin ceiling. (I think I like the ceilings!)

Jeff's meticulous attention to detail is fantastic, so for this shoot, we took the time to focus in on some of the smaller details in the home. This cute fellow is holding up a cabinet over the bar.

These are the beams in the great room.

A close-up of the stone fireplace.
