Design is a passion for me, and when
I’m
passionate about something, I give it 100%.
I put my heart into my work and what comes out is thoughtful,
inspired, designs. |
I've been working in the web and graphic design industry for
over 10 years. This experience have taught me a lot about
good design and customer service, but more importantly, it has
taught me how to really listen to and work with clients to create
projects that truly reflect the character and message of their
organizations.
core
values
- To do my best work on every project
- To work with the highest integrity.
- To treat others with honor
and respect.
- To listen well and commicate clearly.
personal
I am married to wonderful man, Tracy, who is my business partner,
personal comedian, and best friend. Our family consists of our
dog, Monty, and our horse, Maggie Sue.
One of my other passions is photography. Please visit

design
approach
The challenge with graphic and web design is to find a balance
between visual appeal and clear communication of a message. As
a designer, I want people to say "WOW!" when they view
my work, but I believe that ultimately, design should serve content.
relationships
My clients know their business better than anyone, so I involve
them in the creative process. This approach has resulted in great
results and strong relationships. I'm happy to say that many clients
have also become friends.
working
small
I like to think there are a lot of advantages to working with
a small design studio instead of a large agency.
The greatest of these is the personal level of service. Start
to finish, I handle your project personally. I don't hand it down
to a less experienced designer, but do the design work myself.
I also believe that I am able to respond more quickly to your
needs because I am solely responsible for each project.
history
In January of 2003, I started Summerset Studio. In 2004 I added Photography to
my list of services. In 2005, my husband Tracy joined the business,
and we added Video Production services.
